Manchester City FW Shares Soar

 



The teams' competition for Raheem Sterling is intensifying. The British Telegraph reported on the 9th local time that Chelsea of the English Premier League (EPL) also jumped into the recruitment match for Sterling.


Sterling has emerged as one of the big players in the transfer market this summer. Although his team Manchester City did not see much light, several big clubs, including Tottenham Hotspur, Arsenal, Real Madrid and Barcelona, are paying attention to Sterling.


Sterling is an attractive option, the Telegraph wrote. "I've scored double-digit points every last five seasons in the Premier League, and I'm soon entering a period when many people consider it a 'high season' as a soccer player."


Sterling was born in 1994 in Jamaica and made his debut in Liverpool in 2012 and moved to Manchester City in 2015. He scored 109 goals and 56 assists in 320 games in the Premier League.


Sterling's contract with Manchester City is due next June. However, there is no news of his renewal. According to multiple media outlets, he is planning to leave Manchester City through the transfer market this summer. The Telegraph predicted, "With Elling Holland and Julian Alvarez joining Manchester City, Sterling will have further restrictions on maintaining his starting position next season."


It is not recent that rumors of Sterling's transfer have been circulated. In the transfer market last winter, there were many observations that Manchester City would release Sterling or at least rent it.스포츠토토


Earlier this year, Manchester City's price tag on Sterling was about 45 million pounds (KRW 70.836 billion). Considering that the transfer fee Manchester City paid when bringing Sterling from Liverpool six years ago was around 선49 million, it was barely making the right move. However, six months later, transfer market media Transfer Marks predicts Sterling's current ransom of 76.5 million pounds (120.42 billion won).

In addition to Sterling, Chelsea are also looking to recruit Barcelona's Ousmane Dembele,  RB Leipzig Christopher Nkunku and Bayern Munich's Robert Lewandowski, according to the Telegraph
